Egoistics ("we", "us", "our") is a personal development application available on iOS and Android, synchronized with a Telegram bot. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
By using Egoistics, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

If you grant permission, we read your daily step count from Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). This data is used solely to display your steps in the energy calculator. We access step data in read-only mode. We do not access any other health data types.
Step counts are transmitted to our server as a single number per day and stored in your energy records.
If you enable push notifications, we store your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token and platform type (iOS/Android) to send you notifications.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing to third parties.
The app includes an AI assistant. Your messages and relevant context are processed by a third-party AI service to generate responses. This data is used solely for generating replies and is not used to train AI models.
We use a limited number of third-party service providers strictly for core app functionality: AI response generation, user authentication, and push notification delivery. These providers process only the minimum data necessary for their specific function and are obligated to protect your data in accordance with their privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any parties not directly involved in providing the app's functionality.
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers (see Section 9).
Server logs that may contain user identifiers are retained for up to 30 days for debugging purposes and are then automatically purged.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. It permanently removes:

Egoistics is not intended for children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete that data promptly.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Our servers are hosted on Railway's cloud infrastructure. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
